Top Tips on Getting Your Garden Ready for Spring

Wednesday the 20th March – mark that date in your diary as it’s the first day of Spring! We’ve endured the freezing temperatures, the scary amounts of snow, the wind and the rain – and with only 5 weeks until the start of Spring we may be nearing the end of this miserable weather. So it’s time to get out in the garden and get it ready for Spring!

1. Plan Your Garden

Before you head out to the shed to dig out your tools have a think about what you want out of your garden this year – what are your goals? Is it time to incorporate a patio or decking area in your garden, or even a vegetable patch? Do you need more flower beds or more space for your children? Once you have a plan together you can think about the next steps.

2. Give Your Garden a Clear Out

With the harsh weather we have witnessed this winter, your garden may have taken a bit of a beating leaving you with leaves littered everywhere.
